Pocono Fall Fun
Things to do in the area during the fall season
APPLE PICKING:
Lakeland Orchard and Cidery - tons of things to do, pumplin picking, tractor rides, ax throwing, cider tasting and much more! General admission to get in.
Ritters Cider Mill - Close by - you can't actually pick from the tree but they have a lots of apples and activities - baked goods too!
Roba Family Farms - A great place to spend the day or into the evening, food, drink, tons of apples to choose from. General admission to get in.
ANTIQUES:
There are a lot to choose from so I will list them here. Most are in a small town called Hawley and it's a great drive. Not all have websites so please google them.
Pieces of the Past Antiques - Newfoundland, PA, not far.
Fields Used Furniture - this is my favorite to do some picking. It's off the beaten path and you have to really look and priced right. 26 Ledgedale Rd, Lake Ariel, PA 18436
The Loft Antiques
The Sterling Barn Shop
Barn Door Antiques
Antiques and Collectibles
The Town of Jim Thorpe
In the month of October and November, you may Google places that have festivals. If you are on Facebook you can check out the group called "Things To Do in the Poconos", they list the latest events - along with some gossip - LOL!
If you like to take a beautiful ride either in the fall or the summer - go to a town called JIM THORPE - it is a preserved old town with lots of great shops, antiques, cafes, and a fun train ride through the mountains.
