Trash/Recycling

WHAT TO DO WITH TRASH AND RECYLING:

• Garbage: This may be the only thing I request on repeat - The trash needs to be taken to Big Bass Lake trash and recycling center.  This is located in just to the left of the check-in gate at One Big Bas Drive, When you pull in to the trash and recycling center there is a large trash bin on the right.  The front side has a door that you open and throw the trash bags in.  You can take trash as often as you like (Yay).  It is open 24/7.  

• Household garbage should be deposited in the red dumpster.

• Recycling:  BBL recycles broken down cardboard and tin/aluminum only.  These are placed in the appropriate receptacles at the Trash and Recycling center. The plastics and glass MUST be thrown into the bin WITHOUT a bag.  If you're from NY this is not how we do it but that's how they do it here and it's a pet peeve of theirs if it's thrown away with the bag.

• DO NOT LEAVE FOOD OR TRASH OUTSIDE OR ON DECK.  There are bears and other wild animals in the area that will get into bags and containers.

• Please do not leave any food trash at the house those wild animals know no boundaries..
