Please be mindful that this is a family community with full-time and part-time residents. Thank you for being respectful of the neighbors as well as our personal belongings. This house is a labor of love for our family, we are happy to share with you.  Please take care of our things as if they were yours.

•  PARKING - All cars, guests and even visitors must be registered and listed on the rental application before heading to the chalet. You must register your car and receive a car tag at the Big Bass Lake gate before coming to the Chalet at Mountainside, otherwise you risk a $250 fine and loss of your deposit. You may park your car(s) in the driveway. Parking on the street is prohibited.

•  NO SMOKING/VAPING - There is absolutely no smoking within 100 feet the premises (this applies to the deck and front porch).  This is a non smoking property- inside and out. Loss of deposit and additional cleaning will result.

• No Pets. Due to severe allergies this is strictly enforced - smoking on premises or bringing an unauthorized pet will result in loss of security deposit.

• DE-HUMIDIFIER- The game room has a de-humidifier that must run 24-7 in the summer.  This is important for the basement to stay dry and cool.  Do not touch the panels nor the buttons or turn this off especially in the summer months.

• SEPTIC - The chalet has a septic system much different than city systems - please flush bathroom tissue only - no paper towels, feminine products or food items. Please do not pour any grease, oil, food or chemicals down the drain. Septic systems cannot handle foreign matter.

• WATER HEATER - A gentle reminder to be water efficient. We have done our best to install energy-efficient appliances and our water heater is a 50 gallon tank and if you choose to fill the tub know that you will have exhausted the water tank and in the winter months it may take 3-4 hours for the tank to fill and reheat. It's best to take 5 minute showers and/or stagger your use of hot water so you do not run out.

• GAME ROOM - The downstairs game room is NOT a children's playroom, it is an adult game room with two closets that do not lock.  Although we love children, we ask that you do not leave children unattended anywhere in the home, especially in the game room. Therefore all children under the ages of 12 years old MUST be supervised at all times - no exceptions.

•   OWNER'S CLOSETS - The doors that you find locked are the owner's closets are for owner's use only.

• Speed limit within Big Bass Lake is 25 miles per hour. Speeding is strictly enforced and violations are the car owner's responsibility.  This is for the safety of our children and members as well as our wildlife.

• GOING TO THE BEACH or POOL? -  We provide grey and white striped beach towels in or on the dresser in your room. Remember to purchase your amenities passes before going. You may buy them at the pool or gate.

• NO PARTIES ALLOWED - Although it's a big fun house in the mountains we like to keep our neighbors happy who work during the week, therefore no parties and loud music are allowed. Remember only 8 people are allowed at my chalet. Please call me if you want to change this number. 

• Check in is 4pm and Check Out is 11am - any time before or after is subject to a fee of $20 per hour unless previously arranged with me.

•  QUIET HOURS - Please respect quiet hours in the house 10:00 PM to 7:00 AM.  The neighbors will be thankful.  ;-)
